How to Reach DAS
Please direct all disability-related requests/questions to das@gtcc.edu or the DAS main phone number, 336-334-4822, ext. 50038. Both email and phone are monitored regularly and inquiries are responded to promptly.
DisAbility Access Services (DAS) facilitates equal access and provides comprehensive, quality services to students with documented disabilities. This is achieved through the joint effort of GTCC faculty, staff, and the disabled student population. The role of the DAS Office in this process is to review documentation, validate disability status, and determine eligibility for accommodations/services. DAS also facilitates the delivery of those accommodations/services and provides counseling and academic advising-related support for disabled students throughout their stay at GTCC.
Guidelines and Verification Forms
For your convenience, the DAS Office has provided detailed guidelines and verification forms to assist with documenting many disability categories. A complete list is available here. To begin the DAS intake process, please access the DisAbility Access Services (DAS) Clockwork Student Service Request form.
A DAS counselor will contact you via email within the next three business days to schedule an appointment to complete the intake process or to provide additional information/instructions if anything is missing from your services request submission.
