GTCC supports pregnant and parenting students by providing services, resources, and information to ensure that you feel welcomed, supported, and valued during your time in school.

On-campus Support Services

There are a number of support services that GTCC provides pregnant and parenting students.

Titan Link

Titan Link provides resources and information to assist with non-academic challenges such as housing, transportation, food insecurity, child care, and emergency loan/grant/scholarship application access for GTCC.

Offices are located on the Jamestown, Greensboro, and High Point campuses.

Lactation Rooms

Lactation rooms are available for student parents to nurse or pump in a private, comfortable, and safe environment. If there are concerns with any room, please contact the Title IX coordinator.

Mental Health Services

The Counseling Center provides free, confidential counseling services to all current and prospective students.

Campus Events

GTCC often provides events that families can attend such as movies, art exhibits, sporting events, and game nights. Most events can be found on the GTCC calendar.

Community Resources

GTCC recommends these community partners for information to meet your needs. These resources cover topics such as breastfeeding support, "Daddy Bootcamp," food insecurity and others.

Title IX Accommodations and Pregnancy

Pregnancy is not a disability; however, you may request pregnancy related accommodations by contacting the Title IX Coordinator of Students or submitting the pregnancy-related accommodation form.
